Gwily and the Pacemakers upset the top teams by running away with the quiz last night, but a tight finish for the next four places, needing a tie break to separate them.
Results as follows: Gwily and the Pacemakers 51 points, Fandango 49 points, Blankety Blanks 49 points, The Nomads 49 points.

Mrs Browns Boys are now serious contenders for the title after winning for the second week in a row, although it was only bt one point, they are slowly creeping up the league table, last nights results were as follows: Mrs Browns Boys 57 points, then there was a triple tie breaker question for the next two places and it went as follows in second place Scrambled Eggheads with 56 points and in third on the same anount of points Los Amigos.  Bad luck on Blankety Blanks losing out on tie breaker.

Mrs Browns Boys are not funny, they are serious new contenders for the title, although starting at the bottom of the league, they have now won the last two matches and are gradually moving into contention fot the title, so we will keep an eye on them and see what happens in the next month or two.  Last nights results were as follows: in first place with 60 points Mrs Browns Boys, in second place with 58 points were Los Amigos and in third place on 56 points Fandango.

Well done to the new team The Lads who caused an upset by stopping the leaders in their tracks, last night results as follows:
The Lads 56 points, Los Amigos 53 points and in third place after tie-break came Fandango also 53 points.
