Congratulations to Friends who became the 2008 league champions after an enthrawling finish to the end of the season and bad luck to Go With The Flow who lost by one point after tying with Friends over the last three weeks, in third place where University Challenge who were only 6 points behind.
The final results of the season went like this, the General Knowledge Quiz was shared by Just Us and Peanuts with 33 points.
The Picture Pub Quiz was shared by Friends, Corner 5 and Squabblers who all scored 10 out of 10 on Famous Film Stars.
The Anagram was solved first by Just Us, the answer being China In Your Hand.
The overall quiz was won by Just Us with The Golden Girls in second place followed in third place Peanuts.
So thanks to everyone who took part and lets not forget Glyn and Lynne for keeping us going on chips in the break which was very much appreciated by all.

One week left and its all on the last game, just a few points between Friends, Go With The Flow and University Challenge.
But back to this weeks quiz which was won by University Challenge, runners up were Just Us and third place went to Squabblers after a tie break.
The General Knowledge Quiz was a dead heat between University Challenge and Squabblers with 32 Points.
The Pictures Quiz on Birds had three teams with maximum points they were Just Us, Family Fortunes and Peanuts.
The Anagram was solved first by Peter from University Challenged the answer being Silence is Golden.
No questions were disputed so the league table is below.

Unable to give match reports over the last two weeks because of illness but back to normal now, and what a finish to the end of the season with three teams within a few points of winning the title, it's going down to the wire and the teams involved are Friends, Go With The Flow and University Challenged.
This week the overall winners were The Allstars closely followed by four teams all with the same points but after a tie break University Challenged came second with Peanuts in third place.
The General Knowledge Quiz was won by The Allstars with 35 Points and the Picture Quiz was shared by Just Us and The Golden Girls with 10 out of 10, pictures this week were on Celebrities. Phil from Peanuts solved the Anagram first (A Shot In The Dark) and won his team an extra point.
